It is the mission of Select Therapy to provide a conduit for our patients in recovering their lifestyles back. It is our mission to listen, to hear and to act on your physical problems and to give you back performance for life.

Select Therapy started in August of 2003 but has roots in the community as far back as 1980 when it was started as Great Plains Physical Therapy and Fitness. Cliff Lafreniere, the founder of Great Plains joined by Jeff Barta, Laurie Holte, Annette Palmgren, Heather Walsh and Michelle Aitchison founded Select Therapy LLC. Select Therapy as offices at 1425 S Columbia Road, 3035 Demers Ave, 17261 State 34 in Park Rapids, 910 Lincoln Ave Detroit Lakes and 404 N 4th St in Devils Lake. Fitness services are available at the Columbia Road and Devils Lake facilities. Our motto is "Performance for Life".

The main focus of our practice is orthopedic and sports medicine therapy services. We started pediatric therapy services in February 2006. Services for special conditions of osteoporosis, lymphedema, TMJ, headache, chronic pain, and peripheral neuropathy.
